The Kitchen Engine has been a vital part of the Spokane community, offering premium cooking essentials and enriching the culinary journey with educational cooking classes. It was a no-brainer to create a logo that does justice to their awesomeness.
Recognizing the need for a brand refresh, we embarked on a journey to update the font, color palette, and logo mark while preserving the essence of the brand's namesake. Our goal was to maintain a welcoming feel while enhancing the brand's credibility.

How do you update an outdated brand while maintaining its original spirit?
When BKGD had the opportunity to refresh the Kitchen Engine brand, we aimed to stay true to the original concept while modernizing and refining it. The monoline treatment is more timeless and elegant, yet still playful. This graphic approach lends itself to various fun applications, from standard signage to being frosted on a cookie.
